I don’t recall hearing “Utah” having been brought up at any point in that video.

Worthless.

If UW and UO truly ARE holding the league hostage (re: unequal revenue sharing), then that means that all university presidents & chancellors already know about it, and I really don’t think that’ll fly. Any such proposal will automatically cause the 4 corner schools to leave, thereby sinking the league. And I’m not sure those 2 PacNW schools want to be seen as the ones responsible for imploding this historical conference. So unless the Big 12 is offering them a similar deal, this greedy money grab will ultimately result in lower revenues for EVERYBODY — including UW and UO.
And FWIW, MHver3 has been saying this very same thing over the past 3-wks — claiming that either Utah, Colorado, or the Arizona schools have already made plans to leave…
…but on the day the announcement would have been made…
…crickets. In fact, this morning was supposed to be the day the Arizona schools had planned to sign on — according to “Big 12 insiders”.
My personal opinion on this is the Big 12 believes that weakened as we may be, the Pac-12’s position is still stronger, so they’re trying to “Joseph Goebbels” it via these false media blasts, hoping to make our pivotal conference members nervous enough to jump the gun and defect. And all it’ll take for that domino effect to occur is for one weak-kneed Pac-12 member to panic, and pull the trigger. Or for the PacNW flagship institutions to refuse to back off on their alleged “unequal revenue sharing” demands by the time Aug. 4th rolls around. Whichever comes first.

Additionally, Wilner seems to think that the pac12 and big 12 will have similar revenue form the next tv deal which would totally destroy UO and Wash’s leverage to negotiate a model of unequal distribution.
Wilner also speculated that usc insisted Oregon and Washington be left out of the big 10 for recruiting reasones. I think the presidents know the tea leaves that Washington and Oregon are with us for the foreseeable future which should stabilize the conference…. If they thought Oregon and wash were about to bolt, Utah and others would quickly jump to the big 12 don’t you think??

I wouldn’t be surprised if UW and UO are trying to get unequal revenue along with no GOR so they can bolt if asked to. If the big 12 wants the “four corner” schools, it will severely weaken the PWN from running rough shod. If these rumors are true, PNW will have to concede, they will be left with no PAC 12 if they keep with these ridiculous demands.

Rumors? LOL. How come we didn’t hear any rumors before USC and UCLA decided to bolt? Or before Texas and Oklahoma announced their departure from the Big XII?
The truth is, all these “insiders” with the “latest rumors” don’t know jack. Just like the rest of us.

Greg Swaim (Okla St) was the latest Big 12 insider claiming the Arizona schools will have announced their acceptance of the Big 12’s invite. He’d tweeted it last night that the acceptance will be this morning, and captioned it, “IT’S HAPPENING!”.
Here’s his tweet now. As you can see, since nothing happened with the AZ schools, he’d quietly deleted it earlier this morning. cougarboard caught wind of it last night and posted it here. So while you can’t see what he’d said, you can read between the lines based on the zoobies’ commentary.

Here’s another rumor — this one about the Pac-12 inviting SDSU and Fresno St….tomorrow!
Prediction: It doesn’t happen, and that tweet gets taken down quickly. Just like all the other “imminent invitation” tweets we’ve been seeing every week over the past 3.
