Chance of rain from 5pm to 11pm has dropped to 30%, with light to variable winds.
Ground will for sure be wet (as it has been dumping rain and will be rainy during the day Saturday), but maybe, just maybe the weather will be decent for the game.
Great to hear!Couple things I have read in preview analysis on web.
1. Utes will need to be balanced. If we try and go toe to toe with them in the run game it will play into their hands. Continue this downfield passing attack.
2. Turnovers. We are getting better recently and they are second in conference in margin and total TOs made.
3. Bend don’t break. They will get theirs in rushing. Just need to keep them to FGs.
4. OSU is 4-0 when they win the time of possession. Big deal here, yet, if we have quick scoring tds let them run run run and kick FGs.
5. Their weakness on D is third down defense and secondary.
6. Cam being able to run out of trouble and get first downs, which he has been doing since starting.
7. Coming down from a two week high and let down. Keep momentum going.
8. Keep penalties down …clean game…which has been top 5 nationally.
9. Get them to have to abandon the run in second half. Tough task but would bury them.
The current forecast has the rain quitting in the 8:00 am hour. The rest of the day is 20% chance until 4:00 pm when the chance of precipitation is zero for the game hours, then rain after midnight. Let’s hope that forecast holds up.
