The big12 refs. How refreshing was it to see that targeting call overturned?

Today, yes. But I have seen multiple games in the B12 this year that are being reffed by old PAC refs, including the head ref tonight in the TSPP game.

I don’t know if they are being trained better by the B12 or what but seen old PAC refs in some B12 games gives me pause.

There were two plays in a row that should have at least been reviewed but weren’t. That was frustrating.

Games seem to be called less harshly this season. (Examples are no call when Cam shoved into the hydration station, when Money hit after taking knee, and the targeting call on Tao being rescinded). Last season all 3 would have likely been called differently.

Whatever Money said to the ref must have been really bad based on what the refs were allowing to be normal emotion and hard hitting action.
