He had a really good run before aTm when he was at Houston. Out of the few big coaching names available he’s probably the one guy who would have landed the most comfortably on the foundation Rich Rod built. And by that I mean he was the best guy available to coach up a dynamic offense with a QB like Khalil Tate.
If you look at his history he has a pretty good track record with quarterbacks, so I’m sure Tate will continue to be a real impact player under Sumlin.
