ParticipantBraedon Wissler out of Bingham. I hadn’t heard his name before today and it doesn’t look like he got many offers but BYU fans seemed to think he was going to be a coug (although now they’re saying he never would have seen the field anyway).
Anyone who chooses not to go to the Y is ok in my book.

MemberNot a good sign when you’re competing against the zoobs for a zero star player with no other D1 offers…

ParticipantMorning you ray of sunshine! First off, he’s a preferred walk on. And if you know anything about utah high school football, you’d know Wissler was a stud at Bingham before going down in week 1 vs Orem. By the way, would you consider entering the transfer portal to go cheer for another team?

ParticipantThe ignore feature is nice but when someone responds to someone you’ve got on ignore, it makes it look like they are responding to you. I was trying to figure out what part of my post offended you 😂

ParticipantAnother Covey, perhaps? 5th best in Utah, 134th nationally, (according to MAXPREPS). Looks pretty fast, maybe he can cross underneath, with speed, spelling Covey from the damage. Look a the pics on MAXPREPS – punt returner, slot back.
Otherwise as preferred walk-on, he’s got a confirmed spot perhaps, not as a scholarship athlete (85 scholarships), but on the team roster (105 team members), versus showing up unannounced in July as a walk-on.

ParticipantBoth are excellent overall athletes, probably the best pure athlete at their respective high schools. Wilmore is a RB, but also played OLB. Wissler was a RB and CB. Wilmore is 25 pounds heavier, more of a true RB. Wissler probably has a better shot a special teams, slot back, as I mentioned, more of a back up to Covey.

ParticipantHe’s a walk on RB that will probably move to slot wr. I don’t see it having any effect of Wilmore.

ParticipantIt’s hilarious that over on cougarboard, the zoobs were all excited about his potential back in December after they’d offered him a PWO…
https://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=20887225……but 8-wks later, after committing to Utah, they’re all acting like they didn’t want him anyway…
https://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=21177608They always do that. Haha!
