Childish and petty-
Are all Utah fans excited to be in the Big 12? No- We just came from a great conference that dissolved due to greed and poor leadership. We are going to a new conference and there will be an adjustment period. I would say the majority of our fans are grateful to be in the Big 12, excited for the uncertain period of time we will be in the Big 12. The only disrespect that I see that people have expressed is that the locations aren’t as appealing as the Pac 12 schools locations. That is just logic/ personal opinion. There are some great teams and schools, and I’m sure many of us will enjoy traveling to some of those stadiums. Having seen some football games in the midwest (Nebraska) I can say it is an awesome experience, and the majority of the state are passionate fans as compared to the lackluster support at schools like UCLA, Stanford, Cal, etc. So there are pros and cons in any conference. Lets just be kind to other fanbases, win and lose with dignity and BYU can tremble in our shadow again.
