I seem to recall one PAC-12 team whooping Alabama in January of 2009.

They say “PAC 12 teams” not PAC 10 teams. Only get to 12 teams if you count us. 🙂
Still lazy sloppy reporting. Say Utah beat Alabama in 2009 but was a member of the MWC
Perhaps they were considering that win to be the last before the losing streak. It may have happened on January 2, 2009, but it was still the 2018 season.
Here is an equally relevant statistic: Utah has not lost to any SEC team since 1984.
Well, Utah lost Texas A&M in 2003. Guess it depends on how you’re counting A&Ms conference affiliation.
