      This article doesn’t clear anything up.

      We have all known that Utah thinks Rising should play and one doctor thinks Rising shouldn’t play and that is who Rising is listening to.

      The real question is: Why does Utah think one thing and Rising think another? Someone lied to the other party about what expectations were.

      And Whitt has been here a really, really long time and I don’t ever remember another situation like this. Whitt is usually a lot more…negative about injuries.

        I think you’re missing the point. Today, for the first time, we found out the true extent of Rising’s injury. That injury is much more severe than what we were lead to believe. Due to that injury, there’s little to no chance that Rising plays this season but the coaches and Rising made it sound like he could be back at any moment. Why the subterfuge? Why the pantomime? Why the lack of a legtimate fallback plan at the QB position? For inference, Hendon Hooker suffered the same injury last November, was drafted by the Lions in April, but, 11 months later, has yet to take part in any official football related activities. It’s just hard to believe that Cam will be in any football shape before the season ends in two months.

      Utah losing Bartle’s unconditional support is like Putin losing Pravda. The next time I read something of Bartle’s that doesn’t spin any situation into the best possible outcome for Utah will now be the second.
