I sort of like to get the different perspectives of everyone on the board. There was, however, one person I put on ignore because I thought his input was a bunch of clutter. Maybe it’s time for you to put Miami on ignore if he bugs you so much?

I for one, appreciate comments from all sides. MiamiUte has some great insights. By reading the other thread, it appears MiamiUte was attacked first. Just my 2 cents. They are worth what you pay for them. Let’s all get along. Go Utes!

Thanks MTUTE, this guy and Randy Rhoads only post immediately after I do and their postings don’t address what I’ve said but, as you alluded to, are confined to personal attacks. It’s funny to hear that I’ve gotten under their skin since that’s what they have been trying to do to me. Any one that is interested can see my profile and see that I always write in peace but will respond to personal attacks.

No the problem is when anyone else state an opinion that is opposite of his he says that the person is wrong bc his ego is huge. he isn’t discussing or conversations he just states what he thinks as fact. he attacks people as much as people attack him.
where there is smoke there is fire. it revolves around him. he is probably the issue. especially if it’s quite a few people vs one. just sayin.

This seems like getting mad about a whole lot of nothing. He isn’t being insulting, if you perceive that to be true it’s because your feelings are hurt about being wrong. That’s an issue between you and your ego.

I’ve flat out told Miami he was silly for thinking something and he’s told me much the same. Not sure why I’d lose sleep over that maybe my take was bad. He’s also one of the best posters on the site. Can we agree that we’re not here to rock each others cradles and that we should get a little tough so that we can actually have meaty discussions?

This board is getting taken over by a few users who apparently have all the time in the world to spam every post with doom. When that happens, ignoring a single user is not going to fix the problem. You usually just leave the board.

I’m not quite ready to leave the board yet but am getting close. I’m guessing several other users are too. It seems to be the way Ute fan boards go. Maybe this all will go away when the Utes get their offense going again and these users pretend like they didn’t spend the two weeks during our bye trolling Ute fans.

Let’s also not pretend that MiamiUte hasn’t crossed the line multiple times and either had to delete his post or have admin do it. I’ve seen his name-calling, bullying posts disappear. This innocence act now is just gaslighting.

You know how it goes: there are two sides to every story and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. That’s how I approach fan boards like this. I consider myself a realist when it comes to the Utah football program (began my fandom in the 80’s, which left scars). For instance, I don’t see Cam making it back this year and because of that I think we finish out 6-6 (as I’ve stated before on UteHub). We’re trying to win games without Aikman, Smith & Irvin right now and we have depth, but not THAT kind of depth. I don’t really care who is trying to hide what injury or whatever, I just know that the Utes have gotten their asses kicked by the injury bug this year. That’s enough of an explanation for me. To me, it’s a minor miracle that we’re 4-1 right now.

So keep the opinions and theories coming, no matter how outlandish and offensive they might be. They keep me from getting too high or too low.

Go Utes… let’s get that 5th win on Saturday.

Cam’s doctor stated 1 or 2 weeks for Cam’s return. He even mentioned October 16th as a possible date.

That is wrong.
The doctor specifically stated he doesn’t know if it is 1-2 weeks. This is being taken out of context because we don’t know the direct question.
He said the 16th is his 9 month surgery day.

Cam is close, but there’s a few things that we really need to still see before we can have him go back as safe as possible at this point. We’re not even going to be nine months from the surgery until the 16th of this month.
