I totally get that players need to do what they feel is best for themselves. If going to Colorado is that, then more power to him. I’m not in that situation, but my logic says being a contributor on a championship team is better than being a starter on a, um, “non-championship” team.
I think it comes down to being the third or fourth option in the backfield for most of the last two years. The memories of being on conference championship teams will be better after his career is over but the chance to audition for your future has to play in at some point.
Did Deion bring over any running backs from Jackson State? If so, he’s probably going to favor that guy/those guys. So going to commit or “just visiting”?
