I have been pleased with our other new coaches. I think we could have done better at WR. He completed his playing career at BYU just 5 years ago. He has only one year as a WR coach, at UNM.

Maybe he will be great, but his resume is not too impressive.

It appears that Beck has a huge say in who will be coaching on the offense. All of these new guys have ties to Beck.

I don’t disagree, but I like that Whitt is letting the new OC bring in a new staff. Time for a change.

Hope Williams and McNair stay with the team. I assume Whitted was their primary recruiter.

Simon came out of Texas high school as a player. Hope he can recruit well there.

My gosh. You’re taking all our favorite guys.

Micah Simon’s best highlight as a Cougar v Tennessee.

I wanted Fesi to be our WR coach. I guess he is too tied to Kalani.

BYU took some of our favorite guys too. Jay Hill (the biggest reason BYU took such a big step forward this last year). Kalani Sitake (coached at Utah for > 2x as long as he played at BYU). Aaron Roderick wasn’t our favorite though haha.

Alvin Witted and Quinton Gather were poor performers at best.

Wow, I didn’t realize that Whitted and Ganther were fired. Was there an announcement on this?

Whatever the case, I hope this is a sign that Whitt is letting the Beck have full (or almost full) authority of the offense.

Assuming Dampier’s our new QB1, IF he continues with a 1 to 1 ratio in the throw game, KW will immediately insert himself into the offensive equation.

“insert himself into the offensive equation:”

Kyle will apply for a COVID year of eligibility, and make himself the starting fullback. His calves would repel tackles.
