New teams in the CFP
I think the hype helps our football program with recruiting, etc. The publicity is a good thing. I am not too worried with players getting too c**ky. Coach Whitt will take care of that IMO.
A few weeks back – I saw a post on the CB that I found kind of funny. The poster wrote that he likes BYU being rated 12th or 13th in the preseason Big 12 polls and prefers it to Utah being ranked number 1. He said this because BYU (in his opinion) will likely do better than expected which will lead to a very fun season, and Utah will likely not win the conference causing Utah fans distress. These are the things you say when your football program struggles to be in the conversation for a Big 12 championship.
I do admit that higher expectations can make a loss more painful. I am just going to try to sit back and enjoy the ride this season.
