Most heartbreaking loss of the season

The team could have mailed it in tonight. Instead, they showed heart and nearly pulled off a win. I really wish for their sake that they could have finished it off.

Agreed, I appreciate the effort and fight showed. The defense deserves to be undefeated or a 1 loss team.

Another thing sorta lost in last night’s game, despite missing the game tying FG, the special teams probably had their best game of the season.

Recovering the muffed punt seems like a no-brainer, but we’ve all been complaining about how the team can’t make that 1 play that would change momentum. Then the punt block and not just that, but they actually recovered the block and in the end zone for a TD.

But then the little things that get taken for granted when they do go right, like the punt downed on the 3yrd line. The kick offs, the kick and punt coverage, all of it was good last night.

Yeah punt team did a great job last night. Anyone know how long it’s been since we blocked a punt!? Gotta be the Meyer years right?
