They’re only a few weeks away from talking about how they have a clear path to the CFP. Now the talk is about wanting their coaching staff cleaned out.
They are making mediocre to bad teams look great, like we do with quarterbacks this season. This is a huge meltdown and the naysayers couldn’t have asked for a more complete substantiation of everthing they have said.
What makes these times all the more damaging for BYU and and delicious for their haters is that it only takes them half a teaspoon of success to completely go off the rails with crazy predictions and s**t talk (see 1.5 months ago).The level of schadenfreude is off the charts which has happened before. BYU is coming off of a bowl loss to a team that both recently dissolved and has never been ranked before. Which would still be pretty embarassing but it was made all the worse by the fact that 101% of BYU fans talked about how they deserved better and they’d blow out this cupcake.
