              Yes, all fundraisers. This is fact. I have no clue what the donation revenue was or the ad revenue.

              Yes. The fundraisers were all one-off events, separate from board tithing / membership payments.

            I just don’t see the point of posts like that. Why doesn’t he post something productive about football or basketball?

              Well this is posted in the “misc” category, so I have no issues at all with the post.  If all you want to read about is basketball and football, you can use the NEW feature I just implemented (home page only).  Click the category button at the top of the home page and uncheck all the categories you don’t want to read.  BOOM.  There’s your tailored feed!

        Even if the site was to come back online, there would be only a handful of people left. And inevitably, when the next prolonged outage occurs, the cycle would repeat. It’s time to get on board the UteHub train. CHOO CHOO!!!

        I’ve been on Utefans for so long, that its definitely bitter sweet if it is finally gone, but I hope it is. The format was so bad, literally, my computer would freeze up/crash almost ever time I visited. Hadn’t spent much time there at all the last few years. Its time for it to go away, and hopefully we can get all the old timers over here.
