      Shorten length of games

Utah games were still joined in progress like two or three times last season if I remember correctly.

So anyway, it’s PAC-12 media day for football today.

The big problem I experience is how long each break can take when I’m attending a game or watching on a network.  What seems to happen (while watching) is after a score, punt, KO, etc, the network goes to a series of commericials (have to pay the bills of course), but after the ads, they go to the studio, show some highlights from an unrelated event (baseball game, NBA, NHL, Nascar, etc) for about another minute, and then finally get back to the game.  Meanwhile those at the stadium are getting tired of the Chevron car race on the stadium TV screen and have lost all of our energy.

Exactly.  Commercial breaks are already too long and then the networks try to also include self-promotion (stay tuned for next exciting game!) which lengthens them further.

Don’t forget “witty” back and forth banter.
