Agreed, Never understood why they let him go. The only reason I can think of was pay. This new guy just graduated from undergrad so I am sure they are paying him peanuts.

This has been the trib’s pattern ever since Jay Shelledy came in as Editor in chief in the early nineties. He was a corporate hit-man. He came in and made life miserable for the high-paid old timers, and got a whole bunch of them to quit for new grads.
