well, its a start
-
stonguseParticipant
I believe he is preffered walk on
-
UteThunderParticipant
Considering he has zero stars and no other offers, let’s hope so. That’s quite the drop from Daniels.

Remember, Weddle was only a 2 star and look at him now! We’ll be fine.
-
stonguseParticipant
I don’t really see the point of wringing your hands over a kid who is competing with Drew Lisk for 3rd string for a couple years.
-
RiseasUtesParticipant
Remember this guy is a walk on and not starting next year. You’re a little too dramatic, it’s sad you can’t enjoy anything within the program without bitching about the small things you don’t like.
-
User SuspendedMember
yea, I guess my point is we don’t need walk on QB’s we need ligit talent. This feels like Utah is throwing up the the white flag for the 2019 class.
The Tuttle/Wilson and Daniels is a real FUBAR by the coaching staff
-
RiseasUtesParticipant
Yeah, I can’t disagree that we have botched the QB position. We really need a solid hit next year or a highly rated transfer.
-

EagleMountainUteParticipant
Which leads me to believe they are not going after any transfers. This whole play now mentality developing in QB’s is weird. I would much rather take a year at that position if you want it. Patience is a lost art now days.
-
McBride of FrankensteinParticipant
not sure why the commitment of a preferred walk on would leave you to believe that.
-
-
RiseasUtesParticipant
I hope we tried offering that spot to Boone Abbott or Legas first(not sure either would take it) as I would like to see some of the local QBs be given a chance first.
-
UteFanaticParticipant
Rumor has it that Boone Abbott would play at Utah if offered a scholarship. Currently, Utah has only offered him him a PWO spot.
-
-
Larry BParticipant
Zac Wilson would do really well in our offense, with our WR’s. I know I’m beating a dead horse but that was such a whiff on recruiting.
-
HoosierUteParticipant
The guy currently losing to Western Michigan? Pass.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Is that game on?? Hmmm had really no idea. Honestly not trying to be a jerk or anything. I seriously seriously had no idea. Currently watching RDR2 funnyclips online.
-
ChidojuanParticipant
You see the one with the guy beating up the suffragette?
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Yes. Repeatedly. I would never do that.
-
-
-
Larry BParticipant
He has no talent around him and a horrible OC. He’s 9/9 so far in the game. Give him our receivers and an OC who knows what he’s doing and he would be a stud. He’s a True Freshman and already looks better than our 2nd string guy. Don’t let your hatred for BYU cloud your judgement.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Just checked the score. Western Michigan did better than Utah at the half. Can’t believe after the bowl game Utah has to play those turds again.
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
As of right now, Wilson is 11/11. If they lose it’s not because of him.
-
RedbloodParticipant
Hoosier Ute, are you watching the game? He throws it better than anyone on our roster right now. With our QB situation, it’s a travesty that he’s not a Ute.
-
Puget UteParticipant
LOL. He is 15 for 16 (and the one incompletion was a PI), almost 300 yds, 3 TDs, with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter the score is now 35-10. Plus he runs extremely well for a 6’3″ guy. He would be fabulous in our Oh-Fense.
-
PhillyUteParticipant
I think he’s still 15/15. But yeah he wouldn’t crack our two deep just like any other BYU player.
-
Puget UteParticipant
You were right, the PI play didn’t count (duh). Wilson went 17-17, and the other person who threw (Warner?) went 1-1, for 18-18. Highest number of perfect passes without an incompletion in FBS history.

-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Want him badly.

Honestly the american fork kid is a carbon copy of Wilson.
Offer Boone Abbott-
crazyuteParticipant
In fact I would offer Jake Jensen from pleasant grove too. Bring both Jensen and Abbott in. Quit chasing equal talent just because California is tied to their name

QB 6-0, 185″ 2,197 yards, 68.5 completion percentage, 17 TDs, 3 INTs. Looks like a good JUCO quality athlete. I guess we must trust that the coaching staff saw something special.
