      I’m among those who hope for more 6’2″ – 6’4″ receivers to join the U so looking at Peppins’ size was a turn off at first glance. I just did a little deeper dive. This young man may have an “it” factor like Covey but with more speed and quickness. He’s played and had a significant impact at the 7a level in Alabama.

      He’s just 5’8″ but 4.3+ speed. His junior year highlights are impressive. He was a leader on a high school team that took the Alabama state championship this year.

        I would take another Steve Smith.

        I get your point – we need some big receivers in the program.
