Now that Big XII has upgraded by adding four P5 schools, I wonder if they will try to get rid of the G5 schools? (Cinci, BYU, Houston, UCF) to try to better keep up with the BIG 10 and SEC.
They won’t have any flexibility on that for 5+ years and those schools are technically power 4 schools now anyway. Every conference needs a few whipping boys to boost the records of its flagship programs.
It’s damn near impossible for that to happen. The only way to do it is to leave and create your own conference. For an example of that look at how the MWC was formed.
Lol google grant of rights. And you do realize those 4 teams were part of a deal that was way better financially than the P10, that’s why the Pac died and B12 is the third most financially successful conference lol.
