      $600,000 NIL offered for the lineman Daevin Hobbs. Wasn’t even Offered by the Utes.

      I wonder what the other consequence is going to be. Nfl athletes are usually broke and s**t. The vast majority of them actually. Wonder what it will do to these even younger dumb kids with a ton of money.
      I am not really opposed to NIL at either. Because schools are like giant corporations anyways.

      this is crazy. Kid was never recruited by the U, no visit, no offer, no contact. Some booster offered him $600,000 to go to the U anyway.

        For the record, I hate NIL.  But sice that’s the world we’re living in by-golly!, im glad I belong to a school where crazy people are offering some kid we didn’t even offer 600k to come play here.

        I hope Lincoln Riley lights into us like Nick Saban on Jimbo!

          But since we’re on the topic, who was offering that money to the Tennessee kid and forgot to offer it to Walker Lyons???

          actualky, truth be told, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was some troll wanting to muck things up for us.  

          but I hope it’s true and that the money was there!

            I have heard we offered Walker Lyons too. It’s not like we never brought up a deal when all the other schools probably were

        We need to setup an NIL fund.  Everyone contributes and we vote for a player that represents utehub.

      I’m glad to see Utah boosters willing to pay for recruits. This bodes well for our ability to stay afloat in the NIL world.

      But, next time, extend the offer to someone the staff is recruiting. lol.

          Still a walk-on. Not everyone who walks on at Utah has had a scholarship offer.
