      As one of my favorite characters once said “…knock it off with them negative waves”. Oddball was not, but could have been talking about PAC12 playing football in 2020. I propose my six (seven) game schedule starting on the 31 (or 24) October. What say you?

      24-Oct – BYU (BYU reschedules Texas State) – I’m old school – bring on the Cougars.
      31-Oct – USC
      07-Nov – @ Colorado
      14-Nov – Washington
      21-Nov – @ UCLA
      28-Nov – Oregon
      05-Dec – @ Arizona State

      I prefer the original redone Pac-12 only schedule:

      WSU
      @CO
      OSU
      @UCLA
      AZ
      @ASU
      WSU
      @CAL
      USC
      OR

        But starting and ending when? Everything in the news/blogs talks to Oregon and other schools balking at anything sooner than the 31st. Otherwise I would not be unhappy with a PAC12 only schedule.

      Another suggestion, we play BYU as many times as is physically possible before the end of the season. The two teams could rent the Kibbie Dome and live in it for the next three months, constantly tackling each other and throwing balls around. The 24-hour live stream could be on pay-per-view.

      BYU can go pound sand.

      Drop BYU and let’s play Colorado, UA, ASU, USC, UCLA, plus 2 or 3 teams from the North and call it a day.

      If the Pac-12 is smart, they will give Utah, Colorado, UW, WSU, UO, OSU home games the first few weeks and keep the second half of the schedule in California and Arizona. The thought of football games in the cold states during December sounds awful.

        Looking at your suggested list makes me realize how unenthusiastic I am about our Pac-12 foes. Having lived in the PNW for the last 23 years, I have grown truly tired of Pac-12 teams. There is honestly nothing interesting about any of them, maybe cute little Oregon State, but that’s a big maybe. I wish we had other options, fresh air, new experiences. It’s like being married to 11 of your neighbors for the rest of your life, discussing grilling techniques and the latest cooking show on Netflix, endlessly.

          I respect that many of you still have ‘new relationship’ energy. Sorry to bring negative waves.

          Yes, yes. Thumbs down when someone expresses feelings/thoughts different than your own.

          I have the same tired feeling about byu.  I’m done with them.  They are an inconvenience with intolerable fans.

            Agreed. They’re a bunch of business-oriented adult children raising another bunch of business-oriented adult children, over and over again. A cycle of cheerful disney idiocy.

      From the Oregonlive.com – Oregonlive link

      If the season begins Oct. 31, then it’s eight games. Seven regular season games, with an eighth game on the day of the Pac-12 championship game Dec. 19.
      Should the season start Nov. 7, then it’s seven games. Six regular season games, with a seventh game on the day the Pac-12 championship game is played.

      No OOC games.
