  Not a big surprise as most have anticipated this for a while. He’ll have to earn some reps on special teams for a week (ish) but the one potential depth problem area should get a major boost next week. This takes the pounding off of Chase and lets he and Barton run free to disrupt with elite LB speed. Keeps everyone fresh and allows the young guys to develop as well.
  
  Fotu now becomes the key…you can’t single him. If you do he’ll destroy you. The help guy won’t be quick enough to get to Chase or Cody on the inside or Anae on the outside. Weak side gonna have some big numbers this year if Leki holds the double.
  
  Pretty excited right now, fingers crossed but I’m all but positive. Pirtle is good too.

        Did not get the test score needed (ACT). Will take again. Most likely register at a JC but not as a full time student so his clock doesn’t start and join after the semester. 95% Redshirting this year anyway. Bummer for him though.

        Grey shirt if he doesn’t register as a full-time student. Onlyu is saying there is/was a 95% chance he would redshirt if he were to join the team this year. He’ll still have a redshirt year available if/when he joins the program.
