But that was an incredibly disappointing performance for our “most talented” team ever. Felt like a failure in coaching in multiple ways, I don’t think the team was adequately prepared for any phase of this game

Oline was rough. You could send anything up the middle. Literally no resistance. Ford looked bad.

I think the announcer mentioned 1,000 times that BYU was sending pressure all night. I’ll tell you what the o-line didn’t do….fumble the football, throw an interception, mismanage the game clock.

We ran into a buzzsaw tonight, it happens. The sky isn’t falling. I still expect this team to compete well in the league this year. There won’t be a team on the schedule that plays with that much enthusiasm and fire. BYU is a better team then we want to admit.

I think a few questions were answered tonight, such as who the RB1 is. I also think the coaching staff may reconsider Brewer as QB1. He didn’t have a terrible game, but man, he didn’t seem like he was in command of the offense. If Rising and Brewer were as neck-and-neck in Fall camp as the coaches said, it may be time to turn offense over to him, let him take his lumps, and build for the future.

Also, Harding needs to be fired. I’m done. Our o-line has been crap for years. Time for a change.

There was no energy. Even when we had the momentum, the energy was not palpable. Only Covey and Bernard towards the end played with some intensity. It’s weird.
