Ew.

St George UteParticipant
The only benefit to a late kickoff time (for me) is I can smoke a brisket and won’t have to get up at 1am to start. I can get up at 4 or 5 instead. 🙂

Where is my invite??

St George UteParticipant
If you’re in St George, feel free to swing by! 🙂

O boy sprinkles the bear will be in prime time.
Looks like a sleep over in the tailgate lot? -

It is stupid to play an 8:00 PM game in SLC on Novewmber 24th. I hate this game time for many reasons. Regardless – we need to just get out there and blow them off the field. No close game this year.

GrayshirtParticipant
Hopfully just the redshirts and backups.

An oldy but goody:

SalUteopiaParticipant
Am I the only one who enjoys the evening games more?! This has probably to do with our record under the lights.. Yes it is frigid, but I’ll take that win in the freezing cold over an insipid performance in pale daylight.

Oregon lost without lights on. I am pretty sure Utah can beat TDS in any condition this season. You play this game 10 times Utah wins 10.
-
SalUteopiaParticipant
I was making a general comment. Agree that we should win 10/10 times against TDS even if our players were half asleep.

Again, if anyone is going to be too uncomfortable, I’ll take your tickets.
I plan to keep my core temp up by running around pouring beer on elderly zoobs.

Absolutely brutal time for a game. From a “comfort of the fans” standpoint, neither us nor Colorado should have any late night kickoffs at home in November. I know people like the night game atmosphere more, and when weather isn’t a factor I agree, but give me an old school, traditional noon kickoff with the Cougs when the game doesn’t have any impact on our season.

another thing that really sucks about this is there will probably be an earlier game which will run over the start of this game
-
PlainsUteParticipant
Or truck racing.
-
St George UteParticipant
I remember that. I was at a conference in Vegas last November, had picked up dinner and run back to my hotel room to watch the game. Stupid FS2 had truck racing for a good 20-30 minutes before the game picked up. I guess I should have been happy the hotel even had FS2, but crap, who schedules truck racing before a football game?
-
FtheYParticipant
That’s amazing

Absolutely horrible. A game that means nothing just to freeze… The only way I’ll go is if we’ve clinched the South. Then we just chant dumb things at the Zoobs all night. Oh, there’s a game going on?
