      Didn’t notice this on Saturday, but in starting to rewatch the game on the opening kick, Mikey Matthews calls for a fair catch. On the way back to the sideline, a USC player is jawing at him, and Mikey goes over and confidently high-fives him and walks off the field. This is a true freshman, showing the immense confidence that Kyle Whittingham instills in his players, and is a big reason why they win games like this! Love the Utes!

      He is from Irvine. Could have a buddy from high school.

      Looked friendly – It was Makai Lemon who went to school at Los Alamitos. They probably knew each other from SoCal football
