Beating a dead horse here, but watching the Wisconsin game and seeing their O-line dominate reminds me how important that position is. Maybe second only to having a good QB. A good line can make the running game unstoppable, which opens up the passing, making the QB and receivers better and so on. By contrast, awesome receivers and RB can only do so much to make up for a bad O line.
Yup… bummer we had a transfer(empey) that was a unique circumstance and would have helped a lot this year. A medical retirement in that group too in the last couple of years…
