Okay joke’s over

This Utah team looks like a top 25 team. And I know that can’t be true.

Loved seeing that kind of hustle up 30+ points midway through the 2nd half.  That’s usually where we fall off.

One major change was the switch from primarily zone defense to man-to-man.  We certainly were more energetic on defense and disruptive. Steals and clean rebounds led to a bunch of easy baskets.  

Part of the effectiveness is that Cal is a poor offensive team.  But it’s also easier for many players to focus when they have a man they are supposed to guard, box out, yell out when he screens, etc.  The team looked more focused.  

Let’s hope our defense is even better against Stanford.

Id say we are a top 40 team on average. Have played at a top 25 level for the majority of the year. 39 on kenpom fwiw
