While we lick our wounds and lament the Utes problems and deficiencies, raging at the universe…

It had all you’d want from a rivalry game, including a one point margin of victory, controversy, big plays… It just didn’t go our way.

BYU will consider it one of their great wins especially if they end up Big XII champs. It will live on in their lore much like some of our best wins, like the Brandon Burton block.

They’re not winning s**t. Even if they somehow make it to the CFP, they’re going to be boatraced by whomever they play. Just ask yourself this, looking at their roster, is there someone, anyone, that jumps out at you as a player that you have to have? The football Gods are very fickle, and the season still has three games on the calendar. BYU plays Kansas next who’s had a really hard luck season (four of their five losses are by six points or less, who does that sound like) but has been playing really well as of late. I would almost make that game an Upset Alert.

Where did I state that they were going to win it? I said “if they end up champions.”

TBH I don’t really care who wins this conference this year. Had this been a Pac-12 season, and the Utes were out of the race early, I’d still care about who came out the champ. Oh well.
