Still in. Had a hunch WSU wouldn’t do well (but not that bad) – don’t know why, but 2-0. Thought OSU would show up big and boy did they.

So, I’ve been tracking the stats on this one.  Some interesting tidbits:

12 out of 54 entries remain.

Wazzou killed a lot of picks.  42 out of 54 people picked them.

Only 5 people took Florida.

Every single person took Oregon to win so that game is meaningless (unless NC ends the contest by winning).

We love our conference.  Non-conference picks were few and far between (19 people took all Pac12 teams).

Good luck the rest of the way to the remaining contestants.  I’m still in, but I have the conference winning out.  I’m not sure how realistic that is.

IMO the Cotton Bowl is a classic trap for USC.  USC is going to be down because of missing CFP, CW already got his Heisman trophy, etc, plus Tulane has a potent offense capable of keeping up with any scoring USC puts up, especially given USC’s weak defense (though Utah’s run-first offense matched better to their weak, weak run defense). Also, I guess CW is still questionable on starting for the Cotton Bowl due to hamstring.

I’ve got the PAC winning out as well, which on paper makes complete sense but we both know that somebody will crap the bed somewhere
