Multiple HIGH crystal balls just came in for Glover to become a Ute.

UteBackerModerator
I think he announces tomorrow, right?
-
Dresden_StormblessedParticipant
That’s correct. 2 of the 3 lead experts on him have chosen Utah.
What a MASSIVE get this would be. I love his tape.
-
MDUteParticipant
Super excited! I don’t know anything about Glover. But 2 things I love seeing: 1) continued recruiting success out of Florida! 2) battling Florida for this kid…would be a really nice win over the in-state blue blood brand!

CBParticipant
Getting Glover would be a game changer
-
Dwight89Participant
Why? He seems like a good, but not great, recruit. Right around our current recruiting average. I’m sure he’ll be good for us, but why a game changer?
-
CBParticipant
Ignore the 3 star rating, and go watch his tape Dwight 👍🏼
-
Dwight89Participant
You didn’t answer my question?
-
CBParticipant
If you watched the tape Dwight you would have your question answered. But since it’s too difficult of a task, guys like Steve Bartle have said he’s basically a mix between Zack Moss and Ty Jordan. Again, if you watched his tape you would see that. If that still doesn’t answer your question, idk how to help you
-
Dwight89Participant
I’m not quite sure why you’re getting so defensive about me asking you to provide evidence to substantiate a claim YOU made, but, alright I guess.
So, reading between the lines, I take it you think he will be a game changer because his tape looks good and Steve Bartle says so?
Maybe! Hopefullyl! Time will tell!

EagleMountainUteParticipant
If Utah offers a spot to a RB or CB I am going to go out on a limb and say they are a premier talent worth getting. I will jump up and down on that limb. In fact any defensive player and RB.
-
CBParticipant
You’re the one that responded to me telling you to watch his film by downvoting me and making a dumbass comment. You wanna play stupid games? I can do that.
-
Dwight89Participant
Lol ok bud

Looks that way…Jaylon Glover – Rivals 4-star RB

Watching his tape, he actually reminds me of Ty Jordan. Same height being small at 5’7” who is quick and shifty and able to make tacklers miss. But then, like Ty, he looks to have a lot power as well to break tackles and gain good yardage after contact.
-
YergensenParticipant
Don’t see it. Ty was transcendent and unique talent. Incomparable player.
-

-
DallasParticipant
That kid looks almost too good to be true in those highlights. Shifty like Covey, but big! I would say he must be playing against inferior teams, but it’s Florida!
-
noneyadbParticipant
Florida picked up a commitment from 4* RB Gibbs on 7/30.
-
MDUteParticipant
Good catch. I would bet that’s why the crystal ball flipped to Utah. He probably was Florida’s 2nd option and sees a better opportunity now at Utah. Will definitely take him! Go Utes!
-
RedbloodParticipant
The guys on the Florida boards are p**sed. They are saying Glover was their number 1 back and they can’t believe he chose Utah over them. Total meltdown.

CharlieParticipant
With 20 P5 offers with multiple from each of the P5 conferences, there must be something unique about him that many can see. As a shorter player than most, I expect that he could very much like what Utah gets out of Ty Jordan and Covey. Not all teams like to put the ball into the hands of a small guy. But we have seen how dangerous a small quick player can be when the teams are getting tired as the game winds down. Hope we get him.
