The biggest improvement I’ve seen in our defense the past year is tackling in space. Bishop and Vaki are great tacklers.
Oregon spreads the field and makes you tackle 1 on 1 in space. They have great athletes and missed tackles end in big plays.
Their running backs are strong and can’t be arm tackled. DL needs get bodies in front them. Make Nix throw from the pocket. He will make mistakes. Pressure him with the DEs. Make them earn the 1st downs.
Don’t take chances on D. Nix is a veteran qb and will make you pay for blitzes aka Clifford last year in rose bowl. USC def game plan was great. Scalley is on a roll!!
