I guess we can hang our hats on the fact that this has been a better-than-expected season. I don’t really have much hope for tonight because oregon is very good at defending our three-point shooting and disrupting our passing lanes. I also don’t have much hope that Coach K has the ability to create a game plan to counteract those problems.  Obviously I hope I’m wrong. Also we will need to play very good defense.

Low expectations always lead to a better surprise. I was flipping through channels and was grateful that most don’t have P12 network so they will never know how s**t this conference is.

WSU gave Oregon, or anyone in the tournament, the easiest game to be had. Likely, Oregon needs to pace themselves so as to have hope on Friday if they win tonight. If Utah attacks the extended Oregon defense instead of playing defensive, I think it will work out better. Both teams are playing better than when they first met. I don’t expect that Oregon holds an unsurmountable advantage over us. We need Johnson and we need to be hitting shots like our best 10 games and it becomes a good game.

Oregon (and Washington) are bad matchups for Utah due to personnel, no matter what the gameplan is.

I didn’t think there was any way they would ever get to 10 wins in conference.  And they ended up with 11.  They did a great job pulling it all together at the end.  I hope they will start out stronger next year.
