While looking forward to the Pac-12 Championship game, a look back at the Pac-12 Conference season by Jake Curtis, SI Cal beat reporter, reveals some Utes in strong contention for Player-of-the-Year accolades….

The way the media works coach of the year will probably go to Lincoln Riley. It was part of his contract when he signed with USC.

LoL, well apparently he’s been recruiting for USC for the past year as all his recruits are flipping.

Hah I just read a headline how one of his assistants was on the road with an OU recruit. The announcement happened said assistant is going to USC with him. Recruit now has SC and Bama as his choice. Not even a day goes by and he already gets a recruiting violation.

Rising also has quite a few rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. He is the most complete Offensive POY candidate and did it less games.
If Lloyd doesn’t win the award it just shows how basic this conference is:

Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd: His 22 tackles for loss are second in the country, and his 99 tackles were third-most in the conference. Plus he had three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, six pass breakups and two quarterback hurries to go along with his eight sacks. Plus he always seemed to come up with a big play when it was needed most. And I like the fact that he was the lowest-rated prospect of the Utes’ 20-player 2017 recruiting class.
