      Former Pac-12 teams will still be tied into Pac-12 affiliated bowls for the 2024 and 2025 seasons per Brett McMurphy.

      I realize that organizers would probably shy away from something like this, but two current Big-12 teams could face off in the Alamo bowl. Or, former Pac-12 teams could face off in the Pop-Tarts bowl or the Holiday bowl. Kind of an interesting wrinkle in realignment.

        Rose Bowl is no longer a tie in for any conference. It is part of the CFP.

      The Pac-12’s top bowl game is the Alamo Bowl, but per that article, the Alamo Bowl may now choose any team they want, regardless of record, just so long as they’re bowl eligible. So that means a 6-6 USC team can get in ahead of an 11-1 “4 corners” school.
