PAC12 officiating is suspect at best that technical on Colette

Was not called within the intent of the rule IMO.  These guys remind me of when Miller got mugged in the Pit

I have watched a few other PAC12 games and the officiating is always sketchy.

Was any of it explained?  I was in the stands and it didn’t make sense.

It appeared they called it for delay of game because of the way he sent the ball out of bounds?

I was told players are not supposed to touch the ball after they make a basket. I didn’t know that. Collette had the ball just bounce back into his hands, then he threw it to/at the Washington player, who wasn’t expecting it. It bounced off him around his torso or hip.  So it must have looked to the ref like Collette threw the ball at him.

That makes sense but it would seem the rule is to prevent malicious unsportsmanlike conduct.  It doesn’t seem his action rose to that level.  IMO

This is going to sound odd, but as bad as today’s game was it was one of the least poorly officiated games of the season.

Agree wholeheartedly.

I’m getting tired of the home crowd getting a chance to make a mocking cheer when the first foul on the visiting team is finally called 7-8 minutes into the game.
