It’s pretty quiet on the western front… But offensively, I know that having two weeks to prepare has allowed Bajakian to put more of his stamp on things. The week between TCU & Houston was a whirlwind, so not much of that occurred. Therefore, byu-p really can’t just watch previous film and know fully what to expect. The extra time is also allowing for tailoring to Rose’s strengths (Rose is a bigger QB with a cannon, not the quickest but likes to run through people, as opposed to Isaac, a mid-size scrambler type who is still growing into his college arm/body).
Regarding mentality, Whitt is desperate for a win and wants to beat these guys as much as anyone. Many players are well-versed in the dynamics of this rivalry, and they circulate screenshots of the s*** byu fans say . So there’s no lack of desire to win this game. Would love to hear OnlyU’s take on it.
