Not looking good for plane tickets. Guess I’ll be driving. Gonna suck, but I’ve done much worse.

I mean seriously, I’ve flown round trip to/from LA for $99.  Now they want $1500. I did find a cheaper flight for around $500 on Frontier, with a FIFTEEEN HOUR layover in Denver. LOL.

when the layover 1.5x the length of the drive, you should probably just drive

saw some flights out of Vegas to Burbank for $58 one way. Thinking of driving there and catching that flight.

Yeah. Most outgoing flights on the 2nd are all sold out.

Damn. Those are my airports of choice. Sorry man, it’s a brutal drive. Especially when you hit Vegas.

Booked flights during halftime for 400 a piece. Thought it was insane, but feels like a steal now.

Yeah not good. I am flying from Boise to Burbank and it was $550 on the 31st and back on the 2nd. We are flying Southwest since Delta was like $1200, crazy jacked up prices, couldn’t even get a companion ticket price with Delta for some reason, damn airlines.

when i booked my flight on Saturday morning, fares were all over the place.  Fortunately I was able to use miles to make it work.  I thought getting a room was a bigger pain in the ass since I am not familiar enough with the area to know where there is a convenient place to stay.  By a stroke of dumb luck the hotel we are staying at is on the parade route 3.5 miles from the stadium.

Those flights on Delta cost 120,000 miles each. Sheesh.

There are direct flights between SLC and Orange County (SNA). Don’t know the pricing/availability though. There may be also direct flights to/from Ontario.

Wasnt that bad.  Flying down from Seattle on Alaska.  I am assuming you are referring to flights out of SLC which I can imagine being inflated.

We decided to drive because the flights were so insane. Plus, we’d need a car anyways and it’ll be cheaper for us to just drive.

One of the perks of being in Phoenix. It’s only about 5.5 hours away and no snow to drive in 😅

One of the downsides. The Utah games are at UofA and ASU. Their fans are something else.

Ontario Airport is another close option when checking for flights. I reserved my Delta flights for $330 (Thursday to Monday) from SLC to Ontario.
