      I want to see RED!

How embaressing would it be to see half their stadium in Red.

I’ve been to that hell hole once. That was more than enough.

I’ll be there! Anyone that wants to sync up for tailgating before hand give me a shout.

There’s a small parking lot just northwest of the stadium that we tailgated at in 2011 – We’re going to try to be there around noon this year to see if it’s open again. Bringing the pellet smoker and a few racks of ribs, you’re welcome to join

Unless you know of a better spot?

I’m curious: can you bring alcohol to a tailgate in a BYU parking lot? Or will you get shut down?

Not that I’m going (don’t live in Utah), just wondering.

Isn’t that a dry campus on private property?

That’s what I thought – which is why I thought it odd to be tailgating on campus.

Maybe the lack of alcohol isn’t as concerning to some as it apparently is to me!

              byu campus is “dry”

When we tailgated in this lot (private property not owned by byu) we were allowed alcohol

I’ve heard their designated tailgating lot will allow alcohol if you don’t keep it in plain view/aren’t an ass

Abide by the Zion Curtain and all will be well?

What a relief, knowing you don’t have to be denied your tasty beverage of choice! Sounds like a good time – wish I could be there.

                Cheers!

This is all very good information about the tailgating scene. I honestly can’t think of any other way I could be convinced to go back to that hellhole.

That’s the lot I used it 2013. The progression people were selling parking in their lot and let us have access to their restroom inside the building for 10 bucks all day. They had permission from their managers to sell the parking and bathroom to raise money for a company party. I’ll follow my nose to your smoker and say hello.

Wow, entire rows of seats unsold three days before their biggest home game of the year. Unbelievable.
