I don’t see either conference reversing course this late in the game, but I’d love to be proven wrong! The PAC12 is likely to be hurt the most by foregoing the fall season, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is tired of all the talk of decline and falling behind.

The incremental difference between football practice like BYU and conditioning that the U is currently doing is too small to measure.  The Pac 12 and Big 10 could chose to get ready for a late fall season like the others and openly talk about the criteria that must be present to continue.  A team or a few that need to cancel a week is small compared to giving up on the year.  I have zero idea as to why spring football had an advantage over fall football at this point.  They will always be forgiven for trying and failing more so than punting the season.

What should be a question is just how many fans under what circumstances attend the games.  I think all will accept any process for attendance to have the games on TV.  Focus on incremental risk and reward the programs that manage risk best.

With the Rice-Eccles south stands and lockers rooms mostly rubble, Utah isn’t able to host any home games for a while.

            They could probably manage it.

They could definitely manage it. Temporary locker rooms, the football facility, the fieldhouse . . . they have options and could easily make it work. Especially for what would probably be only 3 or 4 home games.

Visitors could dress at East HS.

            Just kidding
