Great article in the LA Times. The more I see from Kliavkoff the more impressed I am. Love his solutions for expanding the CFP and protecting the NY6 venues by having them host the quarter finals on a rotational basis on their traditional New Year’s Day time slots.
And I also love how he’s pushing for multiple media partners to share in the CFP model similar to what the NFL does. It only makes sense to break up the current ESPN monopoly and create more value and interest by having multiple media partners in both the season and post season.
Lastly, I love his strong push to reduce the PAC’s conference schedule to 8 games and create 2 OOC games each year with the B1G and ACC…that would be awesome!
Only thing that was puzzling from the article is the ACC is the only conference wanting the CFP to remain at a 4 team playoff…WTF?!
