Great win tonight! It was awesome seeing a return to tough Utah football and power running.
Give Troy the start for the bowl, as it feels like he’s earned another game, or give Tyler some preseason 2018 work if he’s healthy? -

All those practices? For the future.

I just saw Iowa State, Marshall, NC State and Western Michigan. It’s a crap shoot. I’m just stoked we’re going bowling. Love Utah State, but they would be my last choice of all of those.
-
SalUteopiaParticipant
I like our chances against everyone on that list except Iowa State.
-
Matthew Thomas CastletonParticipant
I like our chances against anybody in a bowl game because Utah and Whittingham are dynamite in bowl games.
-
FtheYParticipant
Looks like Texas is on that list now too.

if we play Utah State I will blow my brains out

It’ll be Huntley, if healthy. If not healthy Troy. The end. Can’t believe 1280 is trying to cause a QB controversy.
-
UteThunderParticipant
Troy had 181 passing yards, just 43 in the second half, and that has “earned” him another game? He did have the two rushing TDs, but get real, this game was about Moss and DHC running all over Colorado.
-
ironman1315Participant
The argument goes the game was better managed and looked like Utah football. And they put up 34 points on a Colorado team that gives up 34?points per game in conference.
Whereas Huntley put up a measley 30 points against a Washington team that only allows 15 points per game in conference. I️ mean clearly Williams is the better player.
-
cbmuteParticipant
This game was about Moss. But part of the reason it was about Moss is because Williams hands the ball to Moss. Huntley needs to learn to trust his running backs more.

Huntley if he’s healthy.

QB controversary for The Who gives a Damn Bowl? No way Huntley needs ALL OF THE REPS. Glad Williams got to score a few times before he left.
-
GrimmetalParticipant
If it’s Huntley, I hope to see less and less of the read option stuff. Moss is a guy who needs to know when he’s getting the ball and when he knows, he’ll go hard. I think the read option adds in an element of hesitation that just doesn’t need to be there.
-
noneyadbParticipant
RPO running problems are on the offensive line and the play design. the o-line have to pass block first, and that’s not their strength.
-
-
ironman1315Participant
Also Hans is an idiot if he thinks Huntley will cause Moss to check out. Gah.
