  Where do you expect Utah to be ranked today? 4 teams ahead of us lost (#6 Texas A&M, #8 Notre Dame, #9 Baylor, #12 Florida). Think Utah jumps into the top 10? I predict #9 for us.

  I’m thinking 10-12, I think Kentucky jumps us, Arkansas could potentially jump us, I’d be surprised if BYU made that big of a jump but I didn’t think Florida would jump all the way up after week 1. Will be interesting to see.

    I think we’ll actually end up dropping. Lots of rankers are going to have the following thoughts.
    
    Kentucky has to be ahead of Florida so let’s bump Kentucky up and Florida down. But then Utah still needs to be behind Florida.
    
    That means a likely drop for Utah. I’m guessing we’re 14 or 15. Not a huge deal though. Still in good position and need to just win games from here out and we’ll be solid

      Feeling a little justified now with release of coaches poll.
      
      Like I said, 15 is a fine spot to be. Nobody would be too upset about it if we’d dropped to 18 last week and then gone up to 15 this week. And it’s still high enough that we’re largely in control of our own destiny. Just have to prove it on the field.

  I’m betting #11 but I wouldn’t be surprised if we only jumped to #12. We lost to a bad Florida team and beat up on a bad SUU team. We haven’t done anything to be considered top 10, IMO.

    Yes, I think we’ll be #11 or #12. 3 teams ranked ahead of us lost – Kentucky will definitely take one of those spots, and maybe one other team jumps us. Poll inertia and overall perception will likely help us.

      I agree. It’s hard to argue Utah being ranked ahead of them based on the first two weeks.

  I predict that Utah will be ranked higher than BYU and that there will be a CB meltdown.
  
  Actually, BYU looked very good last night, especially on defense. They are aggressive and hard-hitting.
