247 high 3-star, composite 4-star running back. Just announced his commitment.

Insane offer list:
Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, etc.

Super. I like his reel. Looks like he has good vision. I’m a little concerned about his size at a buck 80 though.
-
RustyShacklefordParticipant
I thought the same thing but he’s got the frame to hold more weight. Funny story, when Ty Jordan flipped from Texas everyone was excited and I said the same thing. “Look at his size, I don’t see the hype” boy was I wrong then.

True.

UtahParticipant
A composite 4 star. This kid has star potential. He’s legit.
He’s a little light right now, but that is because he is going to college a year early. He looks like he can get to 200 lbs and not a Zack Moss 200, but a lean, cut, mean 200 lbs.
IF we can keep him into his second year and IF he can play next year and not get hurt because he is so light…
He could be a star. A HUGE pickup.

AnferneeParticipant
The 247SPORTS COMPOSITE has him as a 4⭐️ and the 30th RB overall. And yes a ridiculous offer sheet. Love them RBs from Texas. Go Utes!

WasatchRangerParticipant
I thought he was Ole Miss bound, this is great news!
-
Tyler HenryParticipant
Raycine was a top-150 player in the ‘26 class before reclassifying. Although he is still a composite four-star, he is much better than that!
-
AnferneeParticipant
Any idea on who our OC will be!? 😂

-
jshame17Participant
I read his name as Glory at first…
As if he will take us to Glory!!!
-
arizonauteParticipant
how can he commit if he doesn’t know who the OC is ??????
I kid i kid i kid
i am happy for any person that chooses the U for their scholarship/athletic endeavors.

Safe to say Whitt is staying on I think.
That kids name just screams First Team All American Running Back. His highlight reel is so good.
-
CalimanParticipant
Wolfman 2.0 on steroids. He is faster, stronger, a fkn. Bulldozer.
-
AnferneeParticipant
I WANT AN OC CALIMAN!
-
CalimanParticipant
fine! I’ll give you my inside intel. I live in Vegas, I’am connected ( more like I know a few people close to the UNLV program) He stated to me, that He had seen first hand Marion and staff packing up his office and over heard someone in that room say “you taking this to Utah, or trash?” apprently refering to an office item. So unless Marion is planning a ski trip to Utah…
-
-
UtahParticipant
He’s gonna be so much bigger than Wolfman.

I am not trying to be the negative nelly here but watch his sophomore season compared to his junior season. He definitely put on more weight his junior season but he is no where near the home run back he was sophomore year. The top end speed is slower. Just check this out. Correct me if I am wrong.

2008 National ChampParticipant
His video doesn’t come up for me on 247. Do you have a link that works?
The only time I can find for him is an 11.76 100 as a freshman. For comparison:
Randle – 11.15
Stanley – 10.76
Mitchell – 10.81

RavenuteParticipant
He committed to Texas as a Sophomore. Strange how things changed junior season. Why he didn’t stay committed to Texas or them to him. I am still excited to see what this guy can do in a ute uniform but I can see why TX backed away.
-
AnferneeParticipant
Strange that Georgia, Oregon and Ohio State didn’t. And he was this 🤏 close to going to Kiffin and Ole Miss. I love Utah football but some of our fanbase can be such malcontent nit pickers.
-
Rick WalkerParticipant
I’m super excited for him and every other running back but I will always be skeptical of high school running backs because it feels like they’re consistently the hardest position to project coming out of high school. It’s great to be excited while also realizing most high school RBs don’t live up to full potential. But I’m happy with this get and hope he can be a good player for us.

Offer lists don’t always tell the whole story. We don’t know how many offers are committable.
Looking at Mississippi’s class, they’ve had Shekai Mills-Knight committed since August. And, so far, they’ve only taken one RB out of a class of 21 kids. Mills-Knight is bigger (6’1″ 217), faster (11.39 100), higher rated (.9375 composite, #8 RB, #143 in country) and I’m guessing a year older if Guillory reclassifying is correct. Guillory sounds more like a plan B or C for Mississippi who was told there wasn’t a spot available because Mills-Knight was solid than a flip.
None of what I’ve said is a knock on Guillory (I hate that it’s necessary to add that caveat). For all any of us knows, he can put on 30 pounds and be Zack Moss jr. But as someone who fell for the Ricky Parks and Peter Costelli hype, until they get up on the hill and start producing in games, all recruits are potential and not certainty.
