BlockedWazzup Utes! New to the hub here, first time posting. I’m a long horn fan, but also root for the Utes on occasions. So there’s a rumor out there floating around regarding 4* RB Ngata verbally commiting to Utah on 01/03. Anyone have any details on this, or is this all BS?

KeymasterWelcome to the board. Opposing fans are welcome. Would love to hear your input on the game. I did find some discussioni about Ngata by using the search. https://www.utehub.com/forums/search/Ngata/

ParticipantI compared ESPN’s list of kids offered but yet unsigned for Utah to the 247Sports site on Crystal Ball Projections. This kid is listed as 100% Utah. Tanoa Togiai, 6-6 295 lb. DE from Rigby, ID. I wonder if he is a sign and send.
Here is the ESPN list: 2020 Class.
Several other kids were mentioned with Utah on 247Sports, ~25% CBP or less. One with a 25% Utah mention is a RB, Darvon Hubbard. I figure Utah is full at RB or would be if he signs.
I looked at all the WRs, several guys are projected to go to either ASU, Oregon, or USC. Nice if Utah could flip one or two of those guys.
WR Mason Falslev is listed as a WR but I thought he signed in BB.
I checked all the CB and LB, all headed elsewhere.

ParticipantSomeone was on here a week or two ago claiming to have inside info that it was a lock. He was going to commit on 01/03 during a high school all star game. This guy would always claim inside info and most of the time it was not accurate. This thread seems to have been deleted. I haven’t heard anything else from anyone else.

BlockedHeard it from two different people on cumpus last week, I seriously doubt it since 247 sports has him going to the sun devils. I know he ain’t going to OSO, so it makes sense that it’s between Utah and AZ. State.

ParticipantYes why would he come to Utah when we already have a stable of backs on the roster and a couple of good ones coming in? Benjamin from ASU has declared so he can come right in there similar to Daniels last year.

BlockedThat sucks! I was hoping he’d consider coming to Texas, AZ.st sucks, why would anyone want to go there? Utah has consistently produced 1000 yrd. rushers every single year since joining the pac12. it would make sence if it was USC or OR. I hate to admit it, but I’m not looking forward to Moss tearing us a new one tomorrow.
