      Thats what happens 9 times out of 10 when a team with top 20 recruits plays a team with top 40 recruits. Star ratings mean a lot. Almost everything. It is why we see the same teams in the finals every year. Until we recruit better we will be a 2nd tier team. Sad.

      The same can be said about all but around 15-20 programs in the country.

      The reality is that there are a small handful of teams that will continue to get the best players, regardless of anything Utah does. We – and most other teams – need to develop lower star players into studs, something we have traditionally been very good at.

      The idea that we’re going to somehow start consistently landing an abundance of 4 and 5 star guys is a pipe dream. It just ain’t happening…and that’s ok.
