Point #1: Comparing us nationally is silly. The way the leagues have broken off…it’s counterproductive. So, all that matters is being the best Big 12 team.

In the Big 12, high school recruits:

We are ranked #5. TCU, Kansas St, Baylor, Colorado, Utah. BYU is #13.

Transfers: We are dead last because we have no transfers. lol.

Overall: We are ranked #5. TCU, Kansas St, Baylor, Colorado, Utah. BYU is ranked #14.

What about recruit rating? We are ranked #5:

1 – Colorado – 89.22
2 – UCF – 87.81
3 – TCU 87.75
4 – Texas Tech 87.33
5 – Utah 87.27

Outside of Colorado, we are right there with the top of the Big 12. This ain’t the PAC-12. There is no USC or Oregon.

We can easily be right back at the top of the Big 12 next year.

We only needed an adequate offense last year to hit 9 or 10 wins. Jason is a very good OC and a great QB coach. I’m pumped. Go Utes!

Yep in this day and age, teams can bounce back almost immediately with the transfer portal. If coaches can get the team to gel, success can be almost immediate.

But the schemes have to be simple. Personalities have to mesh, and NIL be solid.

I’m glad you started this thread as I didn’t want to and was going to post this link on one of the other NSD threads.

This link is from Yahoo and just gives grades to each team, more of an opinion than rankings based on stars.

Utes got an A- (along with Baylor) only team to get an A is TCU.

No kidding on the conferences. Mississippi St. is #15/16 in SEC and would be #2 in the Big 12.
