Just a reminder that tomorrow IW will throw for somewhere around 140 yards and 2 interceptions. He will have one good TD throw to someone and that will be the highlight of the game.
Bernard will be over used and not effective.
We will punt somewhere around 6 times.
Our defense will get tired in the middle of the 3rd and give up an explosive touchdown to make the game out of reach.
Fans will start leaving the stadium early.
Final score will be approximately 24-13, Iowa State and we will go on to get rocked by UCF.
Nothing will change since the last 6 losses.

given everything that’s gone on this season and Iowa State being motivated to keep in the conference race, an 11 point spread doesn’t sound unreasonable.

Just because you’re likely to be right doesn’t mean you should speak out as if it’s fact. I’d have thought most Utah fans would have learned that this season.

I’m not sure why it’s all of a sudden a bad thing to predict Utah will lose. People were being celebrated on here for betting on the parochial school against Utah 2 weeks ago. But now it’s sacrilege to predict that a team on a 6 game losing streak will lose to 8-2 Iowa State?
What’s the reason for unbridled optimism? Do we think the offense has been fixed? That Wilson will have figured out how to not make any freshman mistakes or deliver the ball on time? Is it because Utah will have remembered that they don’t lose night games in RES while wearing black uniforms?
I’ll watch the game and root for Utah just like the rest of you but until this team shows me that they are capable of winning, I’m not going to predict it.
edit: There are two other ranked 8-2 teams going on the road to play 4-6 teams. A&M is -1.5 against Auburn and Colorado is -2.5 against Kansas while Iowa State is -6.5. @kmc165 isn’t the only one who sees a rough night for Utah.

I think there’s a difference between anticipating a loss (I get it, 6 game losing streak and against a ranked team) and someone making an overtly negative list just s**tting on the team. Curb stomping while they are down. Most of them are just as frustrated. Coaches as well. So going into senior night, where we are also honoring Ty and Aaron, I’d hope there would be a little tact and class.

wow, we are just seeing his post differently. To me it looked like a recap of the last 6 games and predicting the same will happen this week.
Iowa State is #4 in the country in pass efficiency defense, giving up 153 ypg. Predicting Wilson to struggle just doesn’t feel out of the realm of possibility. And it’s certainly not s**tting on the player or team. I guess the season just needs to end already so that the posi-Utes can start predicting a playoff run for 2025.

I just don’t think it’s necessary to passive aggressively list them. Just my opinion. I know a few guys on the team and I know the work still being put in. It’s not helpful or beneficial to the players or program. People can fan how they want. I’m as frustrated as anyone. But doing stuff like that ain’t it. Again, just my opinion.

Anything can happen. I never thought a week would come this year where TSPP didn’t get every single bounce the entire game. But that changed last week.

CityCreekUteParticipant
Hold on, isn’t the OP a TSPP troll? Why are normal people responding here?
-
AnferneeParticipant
This season has brought out a lot of self loathing, CougarBoard-esque Ute fans.
