I lived vicariously through his show, Parts Unkown, wishing I too could live his experience of the world and meaning like he did. He was the Hunter S. Thompson of our time will be sorely missed.
He was flawed person no doubt, but it made his perpective more real.
I can’t help but think of his heroin addiction and what it did to him. Being an addict means every second you are awake a constant struggle within to not shoot up. P**ses me off that something so terrible is sold for profit and it leaves nothing but destruction.
Suicide is a terrible thing and I pity the ones left behind struggling to understand why. Everyones life matters if you need help please reach out and know your struggle can be lighter someday.
