I don’t see it discussed much, but I would think that coaches should work on Rising’s fundamentals in securing the football when he runs. It seemed like he lost the ball a number of times last year when hit, but was lucky very few resulted in turnovers. I’m afraid opposing teams see this on film and will concentrate on knocking the ball loose when he is running.
Somehow the coaches were able to improve Tavion Thomas’s handle on the ball, so it is very possible to do with Rising.
Just want to see Rising improve all facets of his game for the coming season.
